A huge thank you to our very talented friend PAM LYMAN for beautifully hand-painting it and bringing our vision to life. We absolutely love how it turned out! ❤️🙏🐴

And we’re working on keeping the original Anamchara sign on the back side, so as you leave, you’ll still see a little piece of history. 🥰

Construction, Remodeling & Farm Help Wanted at Horse Stables 🐴🔨 – Helvetia/Hillsboro

We’re looking for one or two reliable, hardworking people to help with projects at our horse stables and property in Helvetia.

Our current focus is a house remodel, so construction or remodeling experience is strongly preferred. We also have plenty of ongoing projects around the farm, so this could turn into a great long-term opportunity for the right person.

Work may include:

* Carpentry, demo & general remodeling

* Framing, drywall & flooring

* Painting & finish work

* Cabinets, doors & trim

* Fencing and gate repairs

* Barn repairs & maintenance

* General farm projects and barn chores

* Possibly helping with the horses — no horse experience required

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is a hard worker, dependable, takes initiative and takes pride in doing a job well. Someone who can jump in, stay busy and get things done.

If you have construction skills and like the idea of working outdoors on a really special horse property, with lots of friendly and lovable horses, this could be a great fit. 🐴

$20–$25/hour depending on experience, or project-based pay for the right person. With room to go up.

Part-time to full-time • Flexible schedule • Potential for ongoing work

Our camper's got a new holiday classic: "It's the last days of camp..." 🎶🐴 (sung to the tune you already know and love). This was one of our last weeks of the season — full of pony cuddles, dusty boots, and campers who now talk horse better than they talk anything else. One more week left, and we're soaking up every last minute of it. 🌾💛 Anamchara Stables

What a difference a few days can make! We’re so thankful for the clearer skies and much better air quality today. The horses—and all of us—are happy to be breathing easier. 🐴💙

We’re especially grateful for the firefighters working tirelessly to protect our communities. A big shout-out—and welcome home—to Christian, a valued member of our Anamchara family, who just returned from helping fight the fires! 🧑‍🚒🚒❤️

🐴🌫️ A QUICK HEALTH & SAFETY UPDATE FROM ANAMCHARA STABLES

With today’s poor air quality and warm weather, we are keeping an extra-close eye on all of the horses at Anamchara.

We are monitoring the AQI throughout the day and watching each horse for any signs of respiratory distress, heat stress, dehydration, or unusual behavior.

💧 Water is being checked frequently
🌿 Horses have access to water and appropriate shade/shelter
🫁 We’re watching breathing and respiratory rates closely
☀️ Exercise and activity have stopped and will be adjusted as conditions require
🐴 Our team will continue checking horses throughout the day

We know smoky days can be worrying for horse owners. Please know that the health and comfort of the horses in our care is always our first priority, and we will adjust our routines as needed as conditions change.

We’ve included these helpful guides on air quality and heat stress so our barn community knows what signs to watch for, too.
