Starting Monday, 10/27/25, Franklin Bus Route Changes:

Franklin AM / Pick up Elementary and Intermediate Students ONLY at:
Falcon & Hummingbird - 6:51 AM
Hummingbird & Mockingbird - 6:52 AM

Franklin AM / Pick up Jr High & High School Students at:
Mockingbird & Hummingbird - 7:28 AM
Falcon & Hummingbird - 7:29 AM

Franklin PM / Elementary Students will be dropped of 20 minutes earlier at:
Methodist Church
Elm & Corporation
Elm & Cho
All other stops for the Franklin Route will remain the same.

CR 3102 Update:

Due to problems with the seal coating of the road, 3102 (Road behind the Elementary) will be closed to all traffic until Monday September 22nd to allow the road to properly cure and dry. All Elementary traffic will use the front entrances off Hwy 81. We appreciate your patience.

County Road 3102 Update:

County Road 3102 will be closed on Friday September 12th for primer sealing. It will be open for Bus Drop-Off ONLY on Monday morning, September 15th. The county advises cars to avoid County Road 3102 on Monday morning. It will be closed to all traffic at 8:00 am for Chip Seal, and be ready for regular use for Monday afternoon dismissal.

To address concerns about County Road 3102 behind the Elementary, Hill County has started widening the road today in preparation for chip sealing the section from the back driveway and connect to Stadium Drive. This will eliminate the dust in that section of the roadway. We will keep you updated when we receive more information.

Hello HISD!

Below is an "Estimated Bus Stop Time" list for our in-town route stops only. The first week or two, the bus may run behind schedule while the routes and traffic settle. We will post an update as the routes settle into a routine and keep it updated if any significant change is made.
