On the last day of school we also celebrated two incredible educators, Mrs. VanVleet and Mrs. Norris, as they begin their well-earned retirement. 💙
Throughout their careers, they have impacted countless students, supported families, mentored colleagues, and helped shape the heart of our school community. Their dedication, compassion, and commitment to children have left a lasting legacy that will be felt for years to come.
As a special honor, they led our annual clap out, surrounded by students and staff whose lives they have touched along the way.
Thank you, Mrs. VanVleet and Mrs. Norris, for everything you have done. Wishing you both endless joy, relaxation, and new adventures in retirement! ✨
Yesterday we celebrated a very special milestone as our fifth graders closed one chapter and prepared to begin another. 🎓✨
Over the years, they have grown into confident leaders, thoughtful friends, and hardworking learners. While we’re sad to see them leave JW, we are excited to watch them continue to learn, lead, and shine in middle school and beyond.
Congratulations, 5th Graders! We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what comes next. 💙🐬

An intense battle was fought between the staff and the JWR SACC 5th graders for the annual end of year capture the flag game! Everyone had fun with only a few minor staff injuries. The staff barely pulled out the win.

Yesterday, Miss Duncan’s class had camp day. They did lots of stem activities, explored different types of poetry and read books under the stars.
