newly remodeled center. Foundations Learning Academy focuses on the health and safety of our children as well as personalizing our communications with each parent through PreciouStatus. Our teachers at Foundations Learning Academy provide a caring, nurturing environment that is conducive to the physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth of each individual child. Our teachers are trained in child abuse detection and prevention, spotting and preventing communicable diseases, administering CPR and First Aid. The health and safety of your child is our priority. We provide ongoing learning opportunities for our teachers to keep them current in the field of education.

This week at Foundations Learning Academy, our friends explored OUTER SPACE! 🌙✨

We created our own 🪐 planets, 🌌 galaxies, ⭐ stars, and even became little astronauts along the way!

Our classrooms were filled with creativity, imagination, and lots of out-of-this-world learning! 🚀💫

The new school year is officially here, and we couldn’t be more excited! 💙🩷 Our friends may be moving into new classrooms, meeting new teachers, and learning new routines, but one thing stays the same, we are all still one big FLA family! 🥰

This time of year is filled with so many exciting changes. Some of our friends are moving up to the next classroom, becoming more independent, making new friendships, and taking on new challenges. Others are getting ready to experience their very first days at Foundations Learning Academy. 🎨📚🧸

We’re looking forward to watching each child grow, learn, explore, and reach new milestones throughout the year. There will be plenty of laughter, learning, messy hands, silly moments, big accomplishments, and memories made along the way! 🌟

Here’s to a brand-new school year filled with new adventures, growing confidence, new friendships, and lots of fun! We’re so happy to have our FLA family together for another amazing year! 🎉💙🩷

Summer Camp 2026: What an Adventure!

It’s hard to believe Summer Camp is coming to an end! Our Preschool and Pre-K friends have spent the summer making memories, building friendships, exploring new things, and having more fun than we could have imagined.

From Bikes, Trikes & Scooters, Kid Bash Dance Party, Kona Ice, Tie-Dye shirts, Fire Department visit, Metro Parks reptiles, Christmas in July with Santa, Build-A-Bear, singing with Ms. Joanie, the Bubble Truck, and Water Day Fridays for the whole school, this summer was packed with laughter, learning, and unforgettable moments!

The best part of summer camp wasn’t just the activities; it was watching our children grow in confidence, independence, and friendships. Seeing their excitement, curiosity, and smiles each day reminded us why these moments are so special.

A huge thank you to our families for sharing your children with us and allowing us to be part of their summer memories. We are so grateful for your trust and support.

As we close out another amazing summer, we’re excited for all the new adventures, milestones, and memories waiting for us in the year ahead!

🚲🛴 Another SUCCESSFUL Bikes, Trikes & Scooters Day! 🛴🚲
Our little riders were ready to roll for another fun-filled Bikes, Trikes & Scooters Day at Foundations Learning Academy! ☀️💨 From pedaling and scooting to cruising around with friends, our kiddos had an absolute blast enjoying the fresh air and showing off their riding skills!
There were smiles, giggles, lots of zooming, and of course, a few very important traffic jams along the way! 😂🚦 Some riders were cruising like they had somewhere VERY important to be, while others took their time enjoying the ride. Either way, everyone had a fantastic time!
Days like these are about so much more than just riding. Our little ones are practicing balance, coordination, gross motor skills, confidence, and learning how to take turns and cheer on their friends. ❤️
We love seeing our friends try new things, encourage one another, and make wonderful memories together. Another Bikes, Trikes & Scooters Day in the books! 🚲🛴🏎️💨

🎅☀️ Santa made a sunny stop at Foundations Learning Academy! ☀️🎄

Looks like someone traded the North Pole for warm weather! Santa stopped by FLA today dressed in his summer best, bringing Christmas cheer, high-fives, smiles, and lots of excitement to all of our little learners.

The halls were filled with laughter as the children got to meet Santa, share special moments, and celebrate a little Christmas magic in the middle of summer. After all, who says Christmas can only happen in December?

Days like today remind us that childhood is all about creating unforgettable memories, celebrating together, and finding joy in the little moments. We had an incredible time, and we hope our FLA families enjoy all of the wonderful photos from Santa’s summer vacation!

🐢🐍🌿 Wild visitors made today extra exciting! 🌿🐍🐢
Today, we were thrilled to welcome our friends from the Ohio Metro Parks, who brought a few very special guests to visit our campers! Our Summer Camp friends had the incredible opportunity to meet a turtle, a snake, and one curious little toad while learning all about the important roles these animals play in Ohio’s ecosystems.
The excitement was contagious from the moment our visitors arrived! Our campers listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, shared their own animal stories, and discovered fascinating facts about each of these amazing creatures. They learned how turtles protect themselves with their shells, why snakes are an important part of nature, and how even one tiny toad can make a big difference by helping control insects and keeping our environment healthy.
There were lots of smiles, wide eyes, and a few brave campers who were excited to get an up-close look! Experiences like this help children build confidence, spark curiosity, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the natural world. We love bringing hands-on learning opportunities to our Summer Camp because some of the best lessons happen when children can see, explore, and experience something new.
A huge THANK YOU to the Ohio Metro Parks team for spending part of their day with us and sharing their passion and knowledge about Ohio’s incredible wildlife. We are so grateful for community partners who help make learning exciting and memorable!

Happy (Early) 4th of July from everyone at Foundations Learning Academy!

This 3 day weekend is a wonderful reminder to slow down, spend time with the people who matter most, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Whether you’re enjoying a backyard barbecue, watching fireworks, splashing in the pool, or simply relaxing together, we hope your day is filled with smiles and laughter.

Our classrooms may be quiet, but we know our FLA kiddos are out making big adventures with their families! We can’t wait to hear all about the fun when everyone returns.

Wishing all of our incredible families a safe, joyful, and unforgettable Independence Day. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your children’s lives, it is truly an honor.

🎉 Happy Thursday, FLA Families! 🎉
What a week it has been at Foundations Learning Academy! Our little learners have been busy all week long with exciting activities, hands-on learning experiences, and lots of fun. We truly believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences, and this week has been full of all three!
🍩 Monday: We started the week with our special Donuts with Dad celebration. It was such a wonderful morning filled with smiles, laughter, donuts, and special memories.
🚲 Tuesday: It was time to roll into some fun with our Bikes, Trikes, and Scooters Day! The children had an absolute blast riding around, practicing their gross motor skills, cheering on their friends, and enjoying the beautiful weather. There is nothing better than seeing so many smiling faces!
🍦 Wednesday: We turned into little scientists and chefs as we made homemade ice cream in a bag! The children loved shaking their bags, watching the ingredients transform, and, of course, tasting their delicious creations. Activities like these are a fun way to introduce early science concepts while creating lasting memories.
🚒 Thursday: Today, we were excited to welcome the fire department for a special visit! Our little learners had the opportunity to learn about fire safety, explore the fire truck, and meet firefighters. Experiences like these help children learn about community helpers while building confidence and curiosity about the world around them.
💦And guess what? The fun isn’t over yet! We still have Water Day tomorrow, and we know our little learners are ready for another exciting day filled with splashes, giggles, sunshine, and summer memories.
Weeks like this remind us just how special childhood is. We are so grateful to our amazing families for allowing us to be part of your child’s learning journey. ❤️

🍩💙 What a wonderful morning we had at our Donuts with Dad celebration yesterday! 💙🍩
A huge thank you to all of the dads, grandpas, uncles, stepdads, and special father figures who joined us for breakfast on Monday. It was so special to see our little learners sharing donuts, smiles, hugs, and laughter with the important people in their lives.
These moments of connection mean so much, and we loved watching the children proudly show off their classrooms and spend some extra quality time with their loved ones. The memories made during events like these are truly priceless!
Thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to celebrate with us. We are so grateful for all of the amazing father figures in our FLA family and for the love, support, and encouragement you give each day.
