JUNE 3, 2017 AT ROCKY KNOLLS GOLF COURSE
The Ginsbach Memorial Golf Tournament is an event held every year to help raise money for ALS research and to help students in the surrounding area that are in need. Cory Ginsbach was an educator for 27 years and an Athletic Director at Hill City High School for 24 years. Along with being an educator, Cory was a
n involved community member, a coach, a mentor, and most importantly, a friend. For the past several years, colleagues, friends, family, and welcomed strangers have gathered for one common goal: to find a cure and to support ALS research. Since 2009, the golf tournament has helped raise over $23,000 for ALS research, $5,000 for the Shield of Faith award and scholarship (given to an outstanding Hill City High School boys athlete), it has also donated to FCA, and state wide students going through hardships. The 2017 Ginsbach Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on June 3rd at the Rocky Knolls Golf Course in Custer, SD, with a dance and supper provided at the Chute Rooster in Hill City, SD following the tournament.
