This is not just a building but a place where all children are respected, cherished and provided the very best education possible. Hill City School District patrons should be proud of its school system and the value it places on its students. I sure am.

Once again, Hill City High School was ranked #1 among South Dakota high schools by U.S. News and World Report!!! This is an amazing accomplishment that is due in large part to our teachers, administrators, support staff and board of education - and of course our awesome students!

As your school board member, I want to continue our focus on excellence - please vote on June 7th!!!

Once again, Hill City High School was ranked #1 among South Dakota high schools!!! This is an amazing accomplishment that is due in large part to our teachers, administrators, support staff and board of education.

It was an amazing weekend, culminating with our daughter Samantha graduating from Hill City High School as a Regents Scholar, With Honors as well as an Honor Society member. We were also blessed that my Mom, Betty Timm, was able to join us. (Don’t tell anyone but Mom turns 80 in July!)

It’s Hill City High School Graduation Day! Looks to be a beautiful sun filled day! Ceremony starts at 10:30 am at the best place in the world to graduate from - Mount Rushmore! (Hill City High School is the only school in the country to have the honor of conducting its graduation ceremony at Mount Rushmore.)

Awesome Senior breakfast and awards ceremony this morning. Hill City is an amazing place to live. The community showed its support of our Seniors with more than $30,000 in school-related scholarships!
