Here's another one from the archives: Schaefer Beer in it's prime with billboards in Times Square, New York City (circa 1950s)! We're not sure who the photographer is but it's from the Douglas Leigh papers, Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution.

All aboard for a journey between Cornwall & Middletown NY on the New York Ontario & Western Railway.

This presentation will showcase the O&W. The O&W went out of business on March 29, 1957, we'll look at some of the remains and period pictures of the Old & Weary throughout the towns of Cornwall, New Windsor, Hamptonburgh, Wallkill and the City of Middletown NY.

I hope some of my FB friends can make it, the library in Walden is also the PD station. The address is 5 Scofield Avenue, it's off Orchard on NY 208 & Walnut & NY52
