In my sessions for the Hampton Ministers Conference, we talked a little about vocal intentionality and played a little with a chunk of this fugue from He Rebuked The Red Sea x Donald Lawrence.
I wasn’t looking for perfection. I just wanted everyone to explore, experiment, and play with sound as a cohesive unit… and here’s the end result.
Couldn’t have done it without Scott Cumberbatch on the keys — a Godsend and my brother for real.
