I was inspired to draw this after taking Jack to Alex’s House for the first time yesterday. We are regulars, and they haven’t seen us in 4 months - so it was great to be back!

My go-tos are the Greek Omelet and Greek Salad. What’s your favorite?

I read something today that broke my heart. A local business, asking for the community’s support to keep their doors open. This is our reality if we don’t ardently support the small businesses and restaurants in our backyard. If we want something to return to when all of this is over - we have to find ways to help.

Amazon and Target never checked on me after my grandfather died, like did.

They never congratulated me when I got married (and questioned Brian before) like .hp did.

Or encouraged me to start my own small business like did.

I could share stories like this all day about my FRIENDS who own local businesses.

There are people, dreams and families behind all of these businesses. Large chains will be here when this is over - our small businesses may not be.

If you are able, please shop small this holiday season and beyond. Our neighbors need us.
