Just arrived in Missoula Montana and settling into my gorgeous hotel room for the next two days. Looking forward to productive meetings with the State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) and Montana Statewide Independent Living Council (MTSILC). Grateful for the opportunity to serve and collaborate with these organizations. Thank you, vocational rehabilitation and the SRC for making this happen.

Today after my conference I went to Washington DC to the headquarters of USIDHR where I met with Founder, President, and faculty of the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights. We had a great 2 hour meeting about Montana and the future of Montana in Human and Disability Rights. I am proud to be Regional Director of Montana through USIDHR. I am ready to go to work in these areas when I get back home.

Celebrating the productive partnerships between Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies and business partners! At Meeting number Day 5, we highlighted the strategies being used to build careers, retain employees, and create inclusive workplaces. Through our work with business partners at the national, state, and local levels, we are driving career opportunities for individuals with disabilities and supporting the growth and retention of America's workforce. As the VR-NET and Talent Acquisition Portal continue to expand, we remain committed to creating a talent pipeline that supports diversity, equity, and accessibility. Excited to continue this work and meet with USIDHR in Washington DC.

Meeting number 4 is underway and today promises to be a full session. We have Congressional staff from the 118 Congress speaking about the Entrepreneur Services Grant, which aims to help people with disabilities start their own businesses. Additionally, we'll be hearing about what the Hill is doing to promote disability in the workplace and paying higher wages, more than minimum wages. Today's event will also feature Virginia Fox (R-NC) as a speaker. After lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions. It's sure to be a day packed with valuable information and insights.

Day 3 of meetings in Bethesda, MD, and today I joined the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation as a State Rehabilitation Counsel Member for Montana. Collaboration with VOC Rehab is critical in our partnership for innovation through policy, practice, and performance for people with disabilities. Today's sessions featured leaders from the White House and other organizations discussing disability rights and the future of AI. It was inspiring to hear their insights and ideas.

Day one of meetings. I am 10 miles from Washington D.C. I am representing people with disabilities for the great state of Montana on a national level.
