To all my parents that have kids in my stitch and sketch club. This was sent home this week. Perfect weekend to practice 😊
My homework assignment before next club:
-practice making a slip knot, until they can do it without watching a video.
-practice holding your yarn and crochet hook, it is an uncomfortable feeling at first. The more you practice the correct way, the easier it becomes.
-practice making a single chain. If you make a chain of 20, pull it out and do it again until all of your loops look the same.
-bring a finished chain in to show us by next art club. Even if you think it is wrong.
-the more you practice the better you will be.
-If you need more yarn, come and ask. Snow and cold is coming! What a great time to keep those hands and minds busy!
Here are some links that will help you get through a slip knot, how to hold and how to make a single chain.
PLEASE practice when you have time. Have a chain made before your next art club meeting.

I know this is a hard process so please tell them to be patient with themselves. Stop and pause videos when needed.
