Day 15 of the 25 Days of Christmas: Coty S., senior

"Every Christmas Eve my whole family on my dads' side goes to Carraba's and we eat supper there that night. I normally get the spaghetti with an Italian sausage or the Chicken Alfredo; it just depends. Before we go eat we go to my grandma's church for a service. I love going and eating with my family and just spending time with them."

"I eat with my mom's side of the family at my grandparent's house. We go back and forth between lunch and dinner every year. There is no set food that we bring every year; we just bring whatever. After we get done eating, we open up our presents."

Day 12 of the 25 Days of Christmas: Abigail P., junior

"When we get together, it is everybody in the family and so there are a lot of people all getting together. With my moms' side of the family, we eat ham and turkey foods or we eat finger foods; it just depends. We go to my uncle's house for Christmas Eve who lives in Rutherfordton. Then for my dad's side of the family we always eat finger foods. For his side of the family we go to Lenoir to my Nana's house."

Day 11 of the 25 Days of Christmas: Ashlyn W. junior

"On Christmas Eve, my entire family meets at my grandparents' house in Franklin, NC. We have a huge dinner where each family brings dishes, and my mom always makes the ham. It's pretty much like another Thanksgiving dinner but just different food. Once we have eaten dinner, we all go downstairs to open our family gifts."

Day 9 of the 25 Days of Christmas: Alexandria R., freshman

"Ever since I was little, my family and I have always watched "It's A Wonderful Life" every Christmas Eve at my house. After we get done watching the movie, we always open up one of our presents. It is my favorite time of the year because you get to spend time with your family and I love the holidays."

Day 8 of the 25 Days of Christmas: Cassie G., junior

"On Christmas Day my immediate family and I all watch "A Christmas Story." We watch it from the moment that we wake up till the time that we go to bed, and it stays on repeat all day long. It is at my house every year, and we have been watching that movie ever since I was little. My favorite part is the giant breakfast that we have; it is the best thing ever."

Day 7 of the 25 Days of Christmas: Charity T., senior

On Christmas Eve my mom, dad, brother, aunt, Papaw, and I get together at my house to watch all the Christmas classics while wearing our pajamas. I have an elf onesie that I wear. We watch Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman, but The Grinch is my all time favorite one! We have been doing this ever since I was born and I look forward to it every Christmas.
