What a great way to kick off the 2026–27 fall sports season! Friday evening our LM Athletics family came together at Eagle Stadium for Back to the Nest Fest and a movie night featuring Miracle.
The message of Miracle goes far beyond hockey. It reminds us that when people come together with a shared vision, work for one another, and believe in something bigger than themselves, great things can happen.
Coach Herb Brooks helped his players understand that it’s not always the most talented team that wins; it’s the team that works together, trusts one another, sacrifices for one another, and has the resilience to keep pushing forward. At the end of the day, the name on the front of the jersey matters more than the name on the back.
That is the heart of our LM Athletics philosophy:

As we begin the 2026–27 sports season, let’s carry that mindset with us. Put the team first. Work for one another. Believe in one another. Represent Line Mountain with pride.
Let’s start this fall the right way and make this a year to remember.
