For children ages 5–8 (prek-3rd grade), sessions can focus on:
• Early reading skills
• Reading fluency & comprehension
• Writing
• Math foundations
• Kindergarten readiness
• First grade readiness
• Individual learning goals

My approach is hands-on, engaging, and designed to help children grow while still enjoying summer.

Turns out a little mud may actually be good for kids. Exposure to nature, regardless of the weather, is linked to a healthier immune system. Healthy immune system = ready and able learners!

One of our favorite games,
"cake walk!" No cakes involved, sadly. We use cake walk for everything from long vowels to adding to rhyming.
Play some music, kids dance around the circle, whatever they land on they read/add/etc! The most beloved and simple carnival game turned into learning!
