I worked on setting up my classroom for only 3 hours today and I'm exhausted! Gotta get back into a routine for sure.

Last week of summer tutoring before I have to get back into my classroom. No more sleeping in.. :(

Summer learning tip #2: Have your child write a mini book about their summer vacation. For younger students, they can write one sentence each day about something fun they did and draw a picture. Older students could write an opinion paragraph or two each week about why they think a certain activity is the best for having summer fun. Happy learning. 😀

Summer learning tip #1: Check your local library to see if they have a summer reading program. My local library has a calendar tracking sheet and gives out prizes when you reach certain stages. Reading everyday over the summer break will help prevent summer backslide.
