📢 ATTENDING AN HCHS ATHLETIC EVENT? HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW! 🎒🚫🏈

We can't wait to cheer on the Colonels with you! To ensure a safe, fun, and seamless game-day experience for our community, please review our event guidelines before heading out:

👨‍👩‍👧 Adult Supervision Required: Students and children below 9th grade must be accompanied by an adult to enter any HCHS-sponsored sporting event. Adults are responsible for the behavior and actions of the youth in their care.

🎟️ Ticket Policy & Student Entry
• FREE Entry: Henderson County High School students get into each game for free, thanks to our generous sponsors! Everyone else must purchase a ticket.
• Unaccompanied Minors: Any student or child under 9th grade who arrives without an adult will forfeit their purchased ticket and be turned away at the gate. Please make sure your entire party enters together!

🎒 Backpack Ban: No backpacks are allowed inside HCHS athletic events. Please leave them at home or inside your vehicle to ensure a smooth, quick entry process.

🏈 Leave Sports Equipment at Home: Footballs, basketballs, and other personal sports equipment are not permitted inside the venue. If brought, you will be asked to return them to your vehicle before entering.

🤝 Behavior Expectations: Let's keep the environment positive and safe! Foul language, disrespect, fighting, and horseplay are strictly prohibited. All HCHS student behavior policies remain in effect during school-sponsored activities.

CORRECTION TO A PREVIOUS POST!!!!

Girl's basketball tryouts will be Tuesday, September 1 5:45-7:30; September 3, 3:30-5:30 AND September 4, 3:30-5:30

Any female in grades 6-8 is welcome to try out!

Make sure you have appropriate basketball clothing and shoes!

**Make sure to bring your physical!!!!!

Due to sickness and some other things out of our control, a few home games scheduled this week have been canceled!

Monday, Aug 31 Soccer at the Plex vs Madisonville at 5:30pm
*girls play first
There's also a golf match at the Bridges!!! 4pm

Tuesday, Sept 1-Girls basketball tryouts 3:30-5:30; don't forget your physical!!!!

Wednesday, Sept 2- Volleyball Away at St Ben's 7th and 8th grade only

Thursday, Sept 3-Soccer AWAY at Newman vs South 5:30
Volleyball AWAY at Castle South 6th grade ONLY!!
Football AWAY at Webster 5:30
Golf match at Bridges 4pm
Middle School Softball H vs Webster Co 6pm

Our cross country team headed to Glasgow early this morning and came home with a 5th place (girls) and 4th place (boys) finish! Elementary runner Sydney Rucks continues to pace our girls' team, with an 8th place finish, as Vayda Powers followed her at 27th. In boys action, Rawlin Williams came in 9th, while Grey Ranes stayed in the top 20 with an 18th place finish.

Due to sickness and some other things out of our control, a few home games scheduled this week have been canceled!
