LPB Drum Majors Aaliyah Kirkland-Bridges, Celina Lenguyen, and Carter Howard just finished up their time at the Panola College Drum Major Camp! We are excited to see them lead the band this Fall!

Stay up-to-date with the Henderson High School Lion Pride Band. marching contest in the fall of each year.
During the marching season, "The Pride of Henderson Marching Band" marches in the traditional military style. The drum majors, majorettes, and instrumentalists begin working weeks before the start of school and continue that work each week to prepare a quality performance. Our HHS Symphonic Band entered their recordings to the ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series contest. They placed 3rd in the Non Varsity Concert category with their performance of Byzantine Dances! Their submission will now advance to the Area level and we will know the results by June 20th!

Two HHS Band students earned the coveted distinction of Outstanding Performer for their performances at the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest this past month!

Call time for graduation has not changed. . . . . . . .YET!
The plan for graduation is that it happens as planned. However, due to weather concerns, there is a possibility that it could begin earlier OR later, depending on rain. Unfortunately, we will not have any potential changes until tomorrow sometime as we get closer to midday and afternoon.
What I need from each student is to be READY for an early call time in the event that graduation is moved up and be patient if the rain delays to a later time.
As soon as I can give you a more definitive answer and timeframe, I will absolutely send it in Rooms, as well as post it here to the band page.
