Move in day is complete. 🚚 We’ve accumulated quite a bit of “stuff” over the years as we’ve made improvements to the Let's Build Construction Camp - Lehigh Valley operations. 🔨🪚🧰

Tomorrow we’ll complete our set-up in anticipation of welcoming our campers bright and early Monday morning.

We're just 10 days away from the start of our 10th Anniversary Camp!

It all began with this group of dedicated and talented volunteers. Their vision, passion, and commitment helped launch a program that has impacted the lives of many young girls over the past decade. Many of these volunteers are still actively involved today, continuing to inspire the next generation.

For 10 years, they've helped show girls that they belong in the construction industry - that there is a place for them as builders, designers, engineers, architects, tradeswomen, and leaders.

Thank you to the volunteers who started it all and to those who continue to make a difference every year. Your dedication is changing lives and helping build a stronger future for our industry.

Here's to another amazing camp and the next generation of women in construction! 👷‍♀️🔨🏗️

Plans are coming together for our 10th annual camp. Yesterday we picked up a new flag to greet campers when they arrive at camp! This year Lackawanna College is hosting camp at their new Bethlehem Center campus. It’s a fabulous facility, we can’t wait to welcome the campers.

We came, we competed, we NAILED IT 🔨💪

The ladies from Let’s Build showed up strong at the Habitat Lehigh Valley “She Nailed It” competition today! In our first year competing, we placed🥉3rd out of 43 teams with an incredible final time of 19.5 seconds!

And that’s not all - in Round 1, we crushed it with the second fastest time of the entire day at 18.8 seconds! 🔥

The icing on the cake? We were honored with “The Tailgate That Most Represents She Nailed It.” For 10 years, Let’s Build has been dedicated to empowering young women, and this mission means everything to us, making this recognition even more special 💜

For our first Let’s Build Camp, we celebrated with a friendly She Nailed It competition that we modeled after the wildly successful Habitat Lehigh Valley She Nailed It fundraiser. 10 years later and we continue to close camp with our campers competing for the coveted Golden Bedazzled Hammer!

This year we have a team registered to compete in the Habitat Lehigh Valley She Nailed It Tailgate and Competition on May 4. Our team is made up of Let’s Build committee members and a former camper. We’re raising dollars and awareness to help Habitat for Humanity build and repair homes in the Lehigh Valley.
