, looking for ways to help out with the Schuylkill County Fair? Sign up today to assist the FFA Advisors and Extension Educator with some of our livestock shows throughout the week! Most jobs are just making sure that exhibitors are where they need to be for their shows or the sale. Again, if you are interested, please sign up using the link below!

The sections below are roles to help assist our 4-H/FFA Educators with making sure all shows run smoothly. You will be helping to make sure members arrive on time and are at the correct location for their show. I have it setup that you are arriving 15 minutes before each show.

🚜🔥 Join Us for a FREE Farm & Rural Safety Program! 🔥🚜

The Valley FFA Alumni Chapter and the Gratz Area Antique Machinery Association (GAAMA) invite you to attend "Fire Safety in the Farm Shop" on Saturday, July 18, from 2:00–3:00 PM at the pavilion near the southwest entrance of the Gratz Fairgrounds during GAAMA's Annual Antique Machinery Show.

Learn valuable, potentially life-saving information from local high school FFA members and Junior Firefighters as they demonstrate:
🧯 Common farm shop fire hazards
🧯 How to properly select and use fire extinguishers
🎁 Door prizes provided by the Valley FFA Alumni Chapter!

This event is FREE to attend, no preregistration is required, and admission to the antique machinery show is also free!

Bring your family, learn important safety skills, and enjoy a day at the antique machinery show. We hope to see you there!

TV FFA is off to a great start at the 2026 Pennsylvania State FFA Convention! 💙💛

This week, 19 TV FFA members are representing our chapter as they compete in Career Development Events including Floriculture, Agricultural Mechanics, Veterinary Science, Milk Quality & Products, Horse Evaluation, Employment Skills, and Wildlife Management.

Today, members attended the opening session and heard inspiring messages from the Pennsylvania State FFA Officers, including State Secretary Leah Flinchbaugh, who reminded members:

“You are worthy and capable of your dreams. The only thing that’s stopping you is you. So stop doubting and let yourself be the dream!”

We are proud of our members for stepping outside their comfort zones, showcasing their skills, and representing TV FFA with pride. Best of luck to all of our competitors throughout the week!

Plants are selling out fast! Come and get them while they are still here. Also, come out and buy some baked goods and pulled pork sandwiches while your here!

With heavy hearts, we share the tragic passing of our beloved agriculture teacher, advisor, and dear friend, Mrs. Taryn Morgan.💙

Mrs. Morgan was more than an educator. She was a mentor, a role model, and a constant source of passion and positivity for so many students and community members. Her love for agriculture and her dedication to her students left a lasting impact that will never be forgotten.🧡

In her honor, we will be hosting a plant sale on Saturday, May 23rd from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM back by the AG Shop (turn near Klinger Lumber). This sale will help clear out her greenhouse, a place she cared deeply about, while also raising funds to support her family with expenses.

Available plants include:
• 4” Pots:
Geraniums (red, orange, light pink)
Sweet potato vine (dark purple)
Creeping Jenny
Calibrachoa (purple, red, coral)
Gerbera daisies (mix, not yet flowered)
Juncus grass (straight or spiral)
Wishbone flower (purple)

Lantana (yellow or sunset mix)

• Hanging baskets
