Meal prepping doesn’t have to mean eating the exact same chicken + broccoli situation for five days straight.

I’m all about prepping **ingredients** instead of entire meals.

Protein ✔️
A few veggies ✔️
A carb ✔️
A couple sauces/seasonings ✔️

Then mix and match throughout the week.

Way less boring. 🙌

Sunday Meal Prep! It took all of us today to pull it together and get things ready for the week. Breakfast usually is the one of plan for the most. We always plan to start our day fueled. This week we’ll be taking dinner one day at a time but we have enough veggies to get us started 👏

My goal isn’t to make separate “healthy” food for myself and something different for my family.

It’s to make food that everyone can enjoy. ❤️

Sometimes they eat everything.

Sometimes they don’t.

Sometimes dinner is a huge hit and sometimes...we’re sharing portioned Nachos 😂

That’s real life.

One thing I’m focusing on this week: ✨protein at every meal✨

Not because carbs are bad. Not because I’m “cutting” anything out.

Protein simply helps make meals more satisfying and makes it easier for me to stay full between meals.

Small focus. Big difference.

Vacation was fun. 😎 The food was good. 🍹 And now it’s time for some vegetables. 😂

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying vacation—and there’s also nothing wrong with being excited to get back to your normal meals.

Balance looks like both. ❤️

Just a small glimpse of what’s coming for the week.

Planning helps me not have to think about what I’m putting in my body.

This week I’m focusing on high protein and fiber. Protein bowls are the way to go for me! A busy week means simple meal prep.

Breakfast:

Hard boiled eggs and oatmeal bake

Lunch:

Chicken and Quinoa Bowls 🍲

I mix things up with different sauces and I know the start of the week will be set.

Dinner:

Grilled chicken thighs and lots of roasted root veggies

Lemon and Herb chicken meatballs

Family Meal Prep Hack: adding lentils and beans to your taco mixture adds more protein and fiber, but also gives the meal a bit more longevity because it keeps everyone full!

And if you’re sick of just tacos, we do it all over here. Tacos bowls, stuffed sweet potatoes, and nachos.

How I meal prep on a busy Sunday in between sports games.

I don’t sit and have my coffee on the couch— I have it while I get breakfast going.

I have a plan for the gap between games. What I’ll make and how much. That way I’m not rushing and leaving the kitchen a mess.

Using tools like the grill and quick easy meals helps cut down on time and clean up.

Today I got the first 3 days of the week prepped with breakfasts, lunches, and a few snacks!

High Protein Breakfast Bake (taste like cake).

- 8X8 pan will about 1.5 cups old fashioned oats
- Mixed in 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
- Mixed 3 eggs with about 2 cups of almond milk until smooth and poured over the oats (add more milk if needed, it should be enough to fully cover the oats)
- Mix in berries

Bake at 350 degrees until edges are browned and middle is fully cooked

Cut the oatmeal bake into 4 squares…each has about 25-30g of protein
