Please keep in mind that though the days are getting warmer, our first recess is at 845am and the wind makes for a cold morning. Please continue sending coats to school for the next few weeks ☺️

Tomorrow has been declared a remote day for students by the district due to the extreme weather temperatures. We will be meeting at 1030am to share good things and take attendance. It is very important that your child joins so that I can take and turn in attendance. You can access the google meet through any device with internet access.

Please go to google.meet.com and use code sjrex at 1030am.

Snow day packets have been sent home. If your child has misplaced their snow packet or if it is elsewhere, I have sent copies home with them. Check their bookbags. Please remember this work is a grade and required by the district.

I am sending home packets for more snow days. Please keep these with your child's backpack so they have it wherever they go in case of a snow day. Misplacing these packets requires us to put a replacement order in from the district - we do not keep lots of spares in the building.

Monday is pajama day. Please bring in treats for party ASAP as we will no longer have school Wednesday and will be moving the party to Tuesday!

Please be sure to send a water bottle with your child every day! I have purchased a few cases of bottled water in the event that one is forgotten, but we are running low.

Our first recess is at 8:45 and it’s already getting a bit chilly! Kids are mentioning being cold with the wind blowing. Please start sending a jacket/sweater of some kind on those extra chilly days. Our classroom also stays pretty cool compared to others 😊
