Come cheer on our students tomorrow!!!

Tomorrow is the big day! We are all so excited to hold our final house games. We invite families to attend if they would like to come and cheer on their child’s house. There will be a designated seating area for you; look for the area marked off with green tape.
Also, if you’re able, don’t forget about our car parade in the morning during car drop off. The family with the most spirited vehicle will win a $50 Amazon gift card! Winner will announced before the end of the school day.
Students, don’t forget to wear your house shirts or house colors! ❤️💙💚🖤

Day 5 of Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week kicked off with an iced coffee bar and homemade cinnamon rolls (thank you, Kendra Moss… they were DELICIOUS!)

And we wrapped up our week-long celebration of our SUN-sational teachers and staff with personalized beach towels, of course! ☀️

What a wonderful week it has been! Hayesville Elementary School teachers and staff…we appreciate you!!!🖤💛🐝

… and thank you to these generous supporters as well who donated gifts so that all teachers at HES were able to receive a gift as part of our raffle yesterday…

Day 4 of Staff Appreciation Week at Hayesville Elementary School was so much fun thanks to our amazing community who donated gifts and gifts cards for our raffle! Throughout the day, Mrs. Teague drew shovels and beach balls out of the sand, and whichever names were drawn, they got to come down and pick out a gift from our gift table!

By day’s end, ALL HES teachers and staff had their names drawn and were able to pick out a gift thanks to the generosity of the following businesses and individuals: Limor Nagy Photography,The Tech Guys, Village Church Village Kids and First Look Men on the Move, The Happy Dragon, Bronco's Hiawassee, NOC Social, Integrated Financial Group Wealth Management, Big Nick's BBQ - Murphy…

Day 3… our HES teachers and staff shine so bright… we gotta wear hats! Time for a little hat decorating in the prettiest of colors… black and gold!

This was after the sweetest and most yummy breakfast, cookies and snacks from Sandy Moore Penland and Jarrod Penland! (I mean, look at those cookies…😍)

And to top it off, our house presidents paid a special visit to each teacher and staff member to adorn them with a lei and present a special superlative in honor of how they shine so bright for all of us! ☀️

Gosh, Hayesville Elementary School… you guys are SO MUCH FUN to celebrate!!

Day 1 of Staff Appreciation Week at Hayesville Elementary School was a success!!

We are celebrating our SUN-sational teachers and staff with an island/beach theme all week! Yesterday, The Ark food truck did such an AMAZING job bringing the taste of the islands to our teachers and staff! Here’s a few pics of the celebration!
