At Master Mind Daycare our little ones learned all about the life cycle of a butterfly and had the pleasure to watch this life cycle right before our very own eyes! We talked about how they start out as eggs and hatch into caterpillars. The caterpillars then spins a cocoon which helps to camouflage and protect the caterpillar as it turns into a chrysalis. In about 10 to 14 days the butterfly emerges! We finally released our butterflies!

Threading allows children to use both hands while developing their fine motor skills in bilateral coordination, along with hand eye coordination and developing their concentration skills and pattern recognition skills in an effort to complete their work of art! Check us out link in bio

Happy Earth Day! At Master Mind Daycare we teach composting as well so that all food from our classroom with the exception of meat and dairy is recycled and placed in the compost allowing the organic matter to break down and fertilize the plants in our garden. We held our annual composting initiative and asked our families to take silly photos and or pictures of their little ones while composting. Aren't they the cutest!
