Join us for an informative talk by Whittier Birthplace 's Executive Director Kaleigh Shaughnessy about the historic barn , Preservation and Restoration.

The Whittier Birthplace is hosting an informal tour and talk about the history of and current restoration work of our barn (across the street from the main museum) at 305 Whittier Road. Parking is available along the side of Whittier Road or in the field next to the barn.

This event is part of the Whittier Birthplace’s summer program series on the historic preservation movement. All programs in this series are free to attend! “This program is funded in part by a grant from the Haverhill Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.”

"The City of Haverhill is hosting a patriotic bike parade in addition to fireworks and other events throughout the month of July to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary." - WHAV

Highlights of July:
July 3-
"Fireworks are set to kick off the celebration, starting on Friday, July 3, 5 p.m., in Riverside Park, 155 Lincoln Ave., Haverhill. Fireworks start at 9 p.m., with face painting, live music and food trucks in place before then...."

July 4-
"The patriotic bike parade takes place Saturday, July 4, 10 a.m., also at Riverside Park. Participants are encouraged to decorate their wheels and participate in the contest....."

" The Daughters of the American Revolution...
