Research shows that students can lose important academic skills over the summer if they are not actively reading, practicing, and engaging their minds. At North Forrest Elementary, we are committed to helping every Eagle continue to R.I.S.E. throughout the summer!

📚 We challenge every NFE family to join the Summer R.I.S.E. Challenge and help prevent the Summer Slide!

✅ Read at least 20 minutes every day
✅ Practice grade-level math skills
✅ Write, create, and explore new ideas
✅ Stay curious and keep learning

When our Eagles continue learning over the summer, they return to school more confident, more prepared, and ready to RISE to new heights!

As we wrap up our last day of school, the NFES family wants to send one final, huge thank you to Dr. O'Neal and Mrs. Payton for the incredible support they have given us. We loved getting to celebrate them both at our farewell celebration last week!

We wish Dr. O'Neal the absolute best as he takes on an exciting new chapter in a new school district, and we want to congratulate Mrs. Payton as she continues her journey in Forrest County at Earl Travillion Attendance Center next year. You will both be greatly missed! 💙🏫✨

All yearbooks will go home Friday. Extras will be sold on Friday. Please contact office if you’d like to purchase an extra one.
