Secular Student Alliance at Southern Miss A community for non-religious students, staff, faculty, and allies (And other friends who may be curious about your lack of religion.)

This group is for atheists, agnostics, humanists, and other secular students and faculty at Southern Miss, as well as nonsecular students and faculty who support secular issues. We are officially associated with the national Secular Student Alliance (SSA), and we hope to get a group started on the coast campus once the Hattiesburg group is going strong! Please join if you are secular or a secular

supporter, and invite other secular friends to join as well. Meetings held can include guest speakers and discussions on troubles faced and how to "come out" as a secular to friends or family. We can also collect donations for secular organizations who help fund cancer research, human rights, etc. SSA website: http://www.secularstudents.org/
