Matt Bruns for ISD 200

I am humbled to be elected to the school board of Hastings Public Schools, Hastings, Minnesota, and to serve the community that has given so much to me, personally and professionally.

This would not have been possible without the support of dedicated volunteers who worked tirelessly since early 2023. Whether they were door-knocking, literature dropping, delivering signs, writing postcards, or organizing volunteer activities their work helped spread a message of hope and progress across our community.

I look forward to working in partnership with stakeholders throughout the district, including students, families, staff, administration, school board colleagues, and Superintendent Dr. Champa.

As a final piece of gratitude, I want to thank those community-based organizations that put their faith in me from the beginning, including Education Minnesota/Hastings, SEIU Local 284, Saint Paul Regional Labor Federation, MN AFL-CIO, OutFront Action, School Board Integrity Project, and 200Strong, as well as the other strong candidates that hustled right alongside me this campaign season, like Mariah Ring for ISD 200, Matt Seeger for ISD 200, and Brandy Wentzler ISD 200 - 2500+ doors ain't nothing!
