Are the kids getting a Mardi Gras Break?
Share with music teachers, band and choir directors:
Highly recommend https://EasyVirtualChoir.com, super easy to use, and it is FREE! Users have created videos for choir, band, chamber music, virtual rehearsal, online music teaching, choir dance, audition/recital, singing with sign language, skit etc., or simply for fun with friends and family. The software aligns audio/video tracks automatically and generates virtual choir videos instantly. It’s a great visualization tool and virtual platform combined, especially useful for online classrooms. The entire process is so intuitive and simple, that many K-12 school teachers got a video created with 15-40 students after just one class period. It made remote music classes so much easier! Teachers, students and parents all love it! Hope this free software will be helpful to your school too! Keep on singing!
Come and join a social organization aim at getting the children, and teenagers involved with participating in this 2021 New Orleans Mardi Gras season.
Even though this is the 1st time New Orleans Mardi Gras has been cancelled this is another way to have kids of all ages to use their creativity by joining The 1st Annual 2021 Krewe Of Shoebox Floats.

Is the school board ever going to be proactive? Go virtual before we reach the breaking point. This is BEFORE the new strain that is 70% more contagious has taken hold!
Your actions make a great case for alternative schooling.
You people have lost your minds concerning Ka’Mauri Harrison. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen in a while. The child did not bring the BB gun to the school grounds and it was in his own home which is protected under the 2nd Amendment. Furthermore, it is a BB gun of all things!

If this is the lack of reasoning you are displaying then none of the school board members, especially Mark Morgan, deserve the seats they hold.

You don’t have the authority or the right to control what this child has in his own home. It’s none of your business.
COME ON, JEFFERSON PARISH PUBLIC SCHOOLS, EVER MEMBER SITTING ON THAT BOARD, SHOULD AND SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THEIR POST, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. FOR THEY ARE ACTING AS TYRANNICAL DICTATORS. YALL ARE NOT ONLY EMBARRASSING YOURSELVES AND PARISH, BUT THE WHOLE STATE OF LOUISIANA! AND WE THE PEOPLE WILL NOT STAND FOR YALLS TYRANNICAL DICTATORSHIP, PERIOD!
Shame on JPPS! Issuing a suspension to a child for possessing a BB gun in his own home, then refusing to acknowledge your error and overturn the punishment. I really hope the lawyer his dad hired rakes you people over the coals.
At least this kid has learned what morons educational bureaucrats can be.

https://reason.com/2020/12/07/kamauri-harrison-school-virtual-bb-gun-suspension
You should be ashamed as well as removed from your positions over your narrow-minded and overbearing treatment of Ka'Mauri.

Tar and feathers should be your wardrobe.
