Field Day at Butler Academy never disappoints!

From water games and inflatables to Kona Ice, a dunking booth, bubbles, art, and all the fun in between, we celebrated a year of hard work, growth, resilience, and everything our scholars accomplished. The only thing that proved too difficult for our scholars? Getting a win in the staff vs. scholars flag football game 😲😏🏆 Final score: 21–0

Thanks to our staff, family volunteers, and everyone who helped make the day amazing. And to our scholars: thank you for the joy, effort, and heart you brought to BA this year.

We’re on the cusp of wrapping up Butler Academy’s very first year of high school.
And our freshmen did not come to play.

Exactly half of our rising 10th graders earned college credit during their inaugural freshman year, and more will be earning their first dual credits in the fall. Nearly a third earned 15 or more college credits, while some earned as many as 21 college credits… 𝐚𝐬 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬.

Name another school in South Carolina that can say that about its freshmen class. 𝙄’𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙖𝙞𝙩 🙂

To our scholars: congratulations. You’ve set the bar high. Year one of high school is nearly complete. And we’re just getting started!

Day 1 of Staff Appreciation Week at Butler Academy did not disappoint.

We rolled out the red carpet, had some fun with raffles and surprises, and created space for our team to just enjoy being celebrated. This week is about appreciation, joy, and recognizing the impact our teachers and staff make every single day. Thanks to the generosity of our local business and amazing families, we have NEARLY 100 gifts to raffle off!!!

Huge thanks to the parents who gave up part of their weekend to decorate the school in such an amazing way.

BA Senior Beta on the Move!

If you don’t know about Beta Club, here’s the short version: It’s the largest independent, nonprofit, educational youth organization in America. The program is built around 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲. In other words… our kind of people!

This past weekend, our Senior Betas hit the road for competition and represented Butler Academy with excellence.

But here’s the best part: Beta isn’t just about trophies. It’s about exposure. And connection. Bonding, supported one another, and learned how to compete with confidence. That’s a win every time.
