Dias for NEA President

Strong locals ensure the work of a strong state and national affiliate. Proud to have the support of Avon Education Association and President Jon Moss. Together, we’ve secured major wins for educators and public schools in Connecticut. Cultivating and celebrating the power of local associations nationwide is something Kate looks forward to if elected NEA President.

It’s exciting to have the recommendation of an amazing group of leaders from Pennsylvania. This is a state that has proved themselves to be on the front line of policy improvements, political engagement, and unioning. I am so proud to have received their recommendation and look forward to doing the work together.

Attorney General Tong has been a critical force in protecting both civil rights and education funding nationwide against the attacks from the current administration. I am proud to work with him in the fight to protect public education. Our partnership and his tremendous leadership make this endorsement particularly special.

Fostering strong relationships is a critical component to leadership at the national level. Over the past five years Fran and I have worked together to ensure critical funding was directed to our public school districts, remove ratings to make evaluations meaningful and growth oriented, and so much more.
