Today, Our Miss Puerto Rico of Greater Hartford Queens & Princesses visited the Hartford Public Library Dwight Branch to promote the importance of reading. The queens and princesses read to the kids, hosted raffles, and provided free pizza and music for everyone to enjoy! Thank you to Mega Education, LLC & Dressler Law for making this event possible. 📚👑🍕🎶

The Hartford Public Library Summer Learning Tour continues! Today, Katia Arroyo Hunter, 2026 Miss Puerto Rico of Greater Hartford Queen, and E'lianys Starks Garcia, 2026 Miss Puerto Rico of Greater Hartford Queen, joined another Summer Learning kickoff at Ropkins Library. They read aloud to the students and gifted each one a free book. They encouraged everyone to participate in the Summer Reading Challenge starting June 15 and running through August 15. Remember, the more you read, the smarter you get! This event is powered by Mega Education, LLC & Dressler Law.

🌞 The hot weather didn’t stop our amazing queens and princesses today! 💖 Charlotte, the 2026 Miss Puerto Rico of Greater Hartford Queen, along with Kiara, the 1st Runner-Up, and Katia, the 2026 Miss Pre-Teen Puerto Rico of Greater Hartford Queen, lit up the 4th Hartford Public Library Summer Reading Challenge Kickoff event at the Albany Branch. It was heartwarming to see them reading and engaging with the kids!
Next up, they’ll be heading to the National Puerto Rican Day Parade this weekend!

Students at SMSA got to hear that famous voice in action as Attorney Dressler served as the official announcer during the pep rally for the SMSA/HMTCA Boys Baseball Team! ⚾

Excited to announce the Hartford Public Library Summer Reading Challenge Kickoff! Join us this Saturday, June 6, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Hartford Public Library (Downtown, 500 Main Street Terrace) for a fun-filled Summer Kickoff Run of Show. Come dive into a world of reading, learning, and community with:
- Welcoming remarks from local leaders
- Live performances: drum & dance, bubblemania
- 1:00–3:00 p.m.: Summer Kickoff Attractions (registrations, giveaways, VR mural tours, face painting, crafts, and more)
