Bringing Kauai's free dive community together. It's for anyone and everyone to use so keep it clean and let's dive!

Freedive Kauai was started to help bring people who share a passion for underwater together and build our free-diving community on Kauai, and now we are regularly offering classes which teach everything from safety to proper techniques for better breatholding. Post photos, videos, locations, events, water clarity, and anything else that you can imagine that you would want to share with others.

We are only offering two classes this September so if you’ve been waiting to book a Freedive class grab your spot before next month is gone because it’s almost surf season on the North Shore.

Dates are sept 11-12 and sept 18-19.
Classes will be limited to 6 students ea.

We’re also starting up our depth training sessions for anyone who has taken a prior freedive course. We’ll be diving off a boat and setting up 2 lines. It’s first come first serve and a max of 6 divers per session. You will be able to book both online or reserve via venmo.

We had a blast at recently. Big shout out to him and .george for setting up and breaking down all of these lines every day. We didn’t intend on actually joining the camp but since we ended up there everyday we decided to pay for our time spent on their lines which was more than reasonable. If you ever have the chance to join one of his camps, I highly suggest it solely based on the social and ease of depth aspects alone. We are off to Maui with some of the crew we met over the camp in Kona to do some more epic dive trips this weekend so keep an eye out for hopefully some fun content. To everyone else at camp, it was an honor to meet you all and we hope to dive with you all again in the future. Also, if any of you come to Kauai give us a shout, we are down to adventure! 📸

Sorry everyone who was trying to join this next class. This weekend’s class is completely full. We have more classes on the website with limited spots left also, we will be putting up our schedule for June and July too. Keep a look out for courses as well as possible depth training schedules as well. As always, space is limited so get in touch if you have any questions. 🤙🏻

I’ve always been amazed by the light that refracts through the airspace of a bubble ring as it ascends to the surface. Watching them rise I tend to forget that I’m holding my breath underwater and just watch them slowly expand. Thanks for always pooping these out 😜. I gotta up my bubble ring skills ASAP!

For those who need gear, we work with to get all the freediving gear you need both rentals or to purchase. Dm with any questions about the courses and we’ll see you in the water.

With the north swells starting to arrive, most likely classes will take place around sunny Poipu area. But, we’re not complaining...🏄🏼🏄‍♀️ one of my favorite days is when we get to dive clear water on the south side then head back north and enjoy perfect surf at sunset🤙🏻

Next weekend Oct 17-18 is our next all girls Padi Freediver course. It’s almost full so either get in touch or reserve your spot online. We’ve gotten so much positive feedback so grab some girlfriends and come learn how to hold your breath longer and dive deeper with us next weekend.
