This morning Kelly Boudreaux the Director of the Southeastern Community Music School was presented with an incredibly generous donation from First Guaranty Bank. Brandon and Jane Wear who are both vocal music alumni of SLU (who met while attending SLU Music and are now married AND both work for First Guaranty Bank!) presented the check and are shown in this picture. We'd like to also thank Kristin Williams of First Guaranty and Vanessa Prentice, Chief Engagement Officer of University Advancement for Southeastern!

We are so proud of our Community Music School student, Kallista Miller, who attended MPulse, a prestigious camp this summer at the University of Michigan. She lead a combo and was one of only two groups chosen for their performance to be recorded.  Kallista is a student of Brina Faciane, Director of the Bill Evans Jazz Festival & Instructor of Saxophone at Southeastern and Southeastern's CMS!
