What if better outcomes for newborns started with stronger support for mothers?

Meet Kendall Sneed, a DNP student specializing in psychiatric mental health who is driven by a passion for improving both clinical care and human connection in healthcare.

Kendall pursued her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree to expand her clinical expertise and step into leadership, ultimately working to elevate patient outcomes and advance the future of nursing practice.

Her DNP project centers on improving mother-baby outcomes in the NICU, an area where emotional, educational, and clinical support can make a lifelong difference. By strengthening support for mothers during this critical time, her work helps foster healthier infants, more confident caregivers, and stronger family foundations.

Reflecting on her journey, Kendall shares:

β€œPersevere, especially during challenging times. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and you will take immense pride in your resilience.”

Her proudest moment? Completing her DNP paper, a milestone that represents not just research, but persistence, growth, and purpose.

After graduation, Kendall plans to pursue a career in academic nursing, where she can shape and mentor the next generation of nurses, multiplying her impact far beyond the bedside.

Fun fact: Kendall loves exploring different cultures through travel and discovering new cuisines along the way 🌍

Join us in celebrating Kendall Sneed’s journey and start envisioning how your DNP could empower you to lead, impact, and transform healthcare πŸ’šπŸ’›
