Our Rhetoric School students were honored to serve at the Restoration House Banquet again this year at Carter Plantation. We are grateful for opportunities like these that allow our students to support a worthy cause and stand alongside those who champion the sanctity of human life.

Through its work to promote life in the womb and support women and families, Restoration House serves as a meaningful witness to the value of every life, created in the image of God. We are thankful our students could play a part in supporting this mission.

At APA, we believe a classical Christian education extends beyond the classroom, cultivating students who are prepared to serve others with compassion, conviction, and a heart for Christ.

From the kitchen to the livestock ring to the creative arts, APA 4-H students showed up, worked hard, and did an excellent job at the Tangi Parish Fair with Tangipahoa Parish 4-H!

Bethany Lupo took to the kitchen and won 1st place in the Pie category and the Pickles category! Excellent work!

Adelyne Travis competed in the Fair Livestock Show. Fine job!

Adelyne also submitted entries in the Junior Homemaking Fair and won 3rd Place in Pottery. Well done!

Our monthly Rise&Shine mornings are always a special time to come together, celebrate what the Lord is doing in our school and greater community, and enjoy the fellowship of our APA family.

The wonderful Javunte Andrews, MS., PLPC., NCC. led us in worship with How Great Thou Art and Lord, I Need You. We also celebrated our October birthdays, with a special shoutout to our Head of School, Holly Husser

Our APA 4H students led a school-wide food drive benefiting the Hope Center Thrift Store Amite La/Two Rivers Baptist Association Hope Center and Thrift Store - Amite, La in Amite. We were honored to welcome its Director, Rick Elder, and celebrate the nearly 500 dry goods collected by our students for this worthy cause.

What a joy to see our school community come together in worship, gratitude, and service!

Mrs. Natalie Jimenez Wolfe’s 6th graders really *rocked* Earth Science this week. After learning how igneous rocks and crystals form, they rolled up their sleeves and made their own sparkly creations. These budding geologists proved they really know how to *shine* (we love puns).

Daniel learned the language and literature of Babylon. He was given a new name. The culture around him was working intentionally to reshape him.

But there was one thing nobody could touch and that was his heart.

Daniel “purposed in his heart,” and that inward conviction shaped the way he lived.

As we think about excellence this year, our Director of Student Support Meghan Martinez shares,

“Excellence begins with what’s in our heart.”

At APA, our classical Christian approach to education recognizes that education is about more than filling minds. It is about forming hearts and developing virtuous character through what is good, true, and beautiful.

We are not simply preparing students to excel academically. We aim to help parents raise exceptional men and women whose excellence is evident because of how they have purposed their lives and for Whom they have faithfully purposed it.
