Linda Mount (nee Andreas)AGE: 69 • HaddonifledOn the afternoon of July 9, 2016, Linda passed away at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA due to cardiac complications of a hard-fought battle with a rare condition known as amyloidosis. She was 69 years young and the first child of John M. and Ellen Andreas.Linda spent her joy-filled life in Hamilton Square, Pitman, Gloucester Township, Mount Laurel, Forked River, Punta Gorda, FL and Haddonfield - and brought joy and friendship to those around her in every place she lived. She was a graduate of Steinert High School and Glassboro State College. Linda was a deeply caring and dedicated teacher, both inside and outside of the classroom. She took tremendous pride in her work as an elementary school teacher for 41 years, most of which was spent at Green-Fields Elementary School in West Deptford, NJ, and Laurel Oaks Academy in Arcadia, FL. She touched the lives of countless students, and she has maintained long-standing friendships with many of them over the years. She is credited by many for being their inspiration to pursue a career in education, and the phrase "favorite teacher ever" is used to describe her on a regular basis.She also taught everyone around her how to live life to the fullest. A beautiful woman inside and out, Linda adored her friends and family - especially when there was music and dancing. She blessed every occasion with warmth, hope and laughter. She was the epitome of a gracious hostess, and always made sure that everyone's plate was full, their wine glass was overflowing, and they felt comfortable and at home. Never without a smile on her face, Linda always managed to see the best in everyone. She made every situation better, brightened every room she entered and made sure everyone she encountered felt appreciated and loved. Simply put, to know her was to love her. She will be deeply missed.Linda was preceded in death by her father John M. Andreas. Linda is survived by her adoring husband Tom; her beloved sons David Bills and wife Ellie and Dan Bills and wife Emily; her cherished mother Ellen (Cairo) Andreas; her step-children Christine, Scot, Phillip and wife Natasha and Gary and wife Michelle; her loving grandchildren Emilie, Nicholas, Caroline, Tommy, Chase, Gary, Brooke and Genevieve; her caring brother Jack and wife Dora; her loyal sister Cyndee and husband Jim; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and former students.All are welcome to join Linda's family in a Celebration of Life on Friday July 15, 2016 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at one of her favorite places on the water, The Captain's Inn, located at 304 East Lacey Road in Forked River, NJ.
