We all observe how humans interact in group settings, and we learn how to adapt what has been processed, into our personal lives. What has not been processed, is what can continue unhelpful cycles, in personal and collective development.

One powerful way to learn, that I experienced in college, is to apply research based material, to my lived experiences.

Doing so, expanded my understanding of how to keep myself, and those in my life safe.

In todays world, masses agree with masses and demand compliance. Our thoughts, feelings and triggers aren’t always accurate to present reality. Though we all have intuition, it can take years of investing in oneself, to expand our “gifts.”

Since we all are individuals, we all have birthrights to have our own interests, strengths, and views. Those of which must not cause harm to another. Self-defense is a different topic to explain.

Please use your time wisely, and invest in yourself and your future! If we do not invest in our personal development, we cannot be available to provide for those we care about. Perhaps by understanding our own interests, strengths and views, we can enhance our abilities, and also use our power for the right reasons.

Since this is complex, I am more than happy to provide assistance, or referrals! Yes, I am young, but I believe that we all learn from each other regardless of age. Children teach me something new everyday, and it is some insightful dialogue.

We’re all entitled to form our own beliefs, because we all have our own lived experiences.

Based on individual lived experiences, we then form our own beliefs. The only issue with belief systems, is when beliefs are used to ostracize good people.

Politics can be a hurdle in relationships, but personally I agree with some perspectives on each side. If we were to choose one side or the other, we’re not uniting, we’re dividing.

Seeing the humanness in another, and accepting varying perspectives is fine, as long as it doesn’t put another at risk of being harmed.

When we accept another’s lived experience through honoring each other’s right to have our own perspectives, cognitive dissonance can be a thing of the past.

And that’s if we surrender to change, and boycott the mistreatment we endure. (ie: setting firm boundaries)

I understand this stance is privilege, I use my privilege to support others through their personal barriers/challenges.

I firmly believe that any person can shift their life for the better, no matter what the history was.

But they have to want that change.

We’re never alone in the struggles we endure, because struggles can be interrelated, just different in extent and severity.

Unconditional positive regard and boundaries can go a long way, because those acts respect each persons autonomy. 🪴

Fear doesn’t have to determine our successes.

We can determine that for ourselves, no matter what others think.

Yes, considering others voiced thoughts is important, but they don’t have to take the drivers seat, you sit there.

Mutual respect, honesty, and consented teamwork can go a long way, to get to the desired destination. (Ie: individually and collectively meeting goals)

Thankfully, we all have a right to make choices each day. We all may be on different paths, journeys, etc. but stepping out of our comfort zone, and making choices each day that benefit ourselves, and humanity, gets each of us closer to personal enlightenment.

Yes, learn from it and do better, white people.

I’ve done things in the past that I’m deeply remorseful for, because I understand that being sensitive to how I impacted someone is way more important than comforting my intention.

Though I’ve always had a deep sense of self awareness, and still do a lot of self work to ensure I am uplifting the black community, it does not excuse my past mistakes. Using privilege to uplift those who need it most, is where it’s at. Instead of worrying about reputation or how people will perceive you, stay aligned with your values and fight for what you know is right. I’d rather speak up,than sit there and watch mistreatment happen.

Because they deserve to be seen, heard, and valued. I said what I said, and I mean it to the depths of my being.

First post on the website!

It’s not finished, as I want to pour a lot more into it.

Just like any of the work we engage in for our lives, it’s a process. I’ll be transparent and show the beginning stages, and build on it as time goes, to give a visual that everything happens in stages. So you’re allowed to take your time here too!

Hi Everyone! Thank you for checking out my website! I hope something posted here or in the services I offer, will be of benefit to you, or someone you know. I am currently an undergrad college student, and I completed my Early Childhood Associates degree, two years ago. Further, I understand each pe...

There’s so much complexity involved when humans endure trauma.

It’s not just the unfortunate experience that is impacting the person/people.

It is the fact that reality keeps flowing, and the traumatized person/people are in a fight/flight/freeze/fawn state.

If there isn’t someone in the environment that is being honest and directly addressing the issue(s) at hand, it can breed toxic dynamics where we can’t see a beginning or end to the issues.

Because we have to remember, everyone is being impacted. Every. Single. Person. & being sensitive to that allows more space for building trust.

It takes a trailblazer to take on this role, but to protect those we care for, or to advocate for something we’re individually passionate about, it doesn’t make it as daunting to do.

My fellow neurodivergents, please please please invest into the knowledge you pick up on environments. You can be part in eliciting meaningful change to this world, and yourself.

As always, use your power and knowledge for good. & if you need any assistance please reach out to a mental health professional or coach of your choosing.

While I think power over others is inappropriate, I do think taking our power back is necessary to living a life of peace.

There are four dimensions that can help us each understand where to grow self awareness:

Physical, Spiritual, Intellectual, and Emotional.

(This can be vastly different for everyone; no judgement on how this shows up for each person. We all deserve to feel comfortable in our own skin.)

If someone receives support geared towards growing the self, and/or is able to articulate how they show up in each dimension, the process of staying in their power can be the next exploration stage.

This all being said, life can be triggering. Depending on the environment, people, etc. we all can be triggered from time to time.

So, reality testing at any stage of life can be pivotal in returning back to the present, and knowing which thoughts are activated for protection.

Ways someone could practice reality testing:
⭐️5 senses exercises (what do you see, feel, taste, hear)
⭐️journaling about what happened before, during, and after the trigger
⭐️Observing and try not to absorb
⭐️acknowledging that other people surrounding us, can potentially be impacted as well.
⭐️patterns in emotions , thoughts etc.
⭐️view situation from different perspectives
⭐️ask questions

And probably many more ways!😊

Each person can gauge how it is helpful for them, as there are probably many benefits.

Those illusions probably won’t have power over anyone either.

Be safe. Stay true to you. Love who you wanna love. And as always, take care.

Coaching gymnastics was a fun time, definitely miss the coworkers, and kids!

It was the first job I really enjoyed going to, and I always think about wishing I could go back as who I am now - as growth can change us! Although this is a common grieving stage when working with children/helping others; I remind myself that maybe who I was then was what they needed, along with the other coaches too! They were fantastic and I was able to learn from them too.

I had my fair share of making mistakes, and am so proud of the littles who called me out on the daily🥰

I say all this to reminisce on when I used a song to help motivate me to continue to show up for them. “How They Rmemeber You,” by Rascal Flatts. & my departure is something I’ll treasure for the rest of my life.

Every day is new, and each day we have a choice:

We never know what someone else is going through; how do you want them to remember you?

I look forward to supporting clients in the areas they would like to work towards being fulfilled in!

There are 5 stages that present themselves when groups develop: (2 or more people)

Those stages are: Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing, and Adjourning.

The model was made my Bruce Tuckmann in 1965. This knowledge helps groups to collaborate, sustain/build relationships, and give others fair opportunity to lead outside of the “chosen” leader.

Which is why leadership is so exciting for me to continue to learn about, because it’s so expansive, and inclusive to each member in the community; as the right leader should want each person to succeed.

Just about any movie/group presents these stages. My all time favorite is Encanto. I think it’s a fun, and real depiction of family dynamics, and how those obstacles can be overcome by gaining perspective, respecting eachother, and making amends.

This model is explained as a hierarchy in readings, I tend to steer away from that kind of approach as my intention is to be inclusive as possible, because humility is imperative as a leader.

Nature is the strongest medicine.

Having feelings arise, whether they be survival, or equilibrium based; nature can help to soothe the “negative” feelings, or enhance the “positive” feelings.

~

Someone could also choose not to have nature as a coping strategy, as we all have different preferences!

Here, it’s all based on what works for each individual client, as YOU know your life more than I ever would. I am here to support as needed, and deserved.😊

P.S. website coming soonnnn 🤩
✨stay tuned✨

When out driving, or going for a walk, we ALL engage in mass societal behaviors: just different in extent and awareness.

Looking the other way, and multiple other things.

In regards to disadvantaged communities, (ie: homeless people, people with disabilities, elderly, transgender people, women, children, etc.) the acknowledgement of their existence with a smile, or looking in their direction, can imprint thoughts of, “I matter,” “I am seen,” “someone understands.”

While these communities deserve more resources to get them out of the circumstances that weren’t their fault, it would most certainly lead way to providing comfort in the midst of deep pain and suffering.

Let’s start here. Let’s lean in the uncomfortable moments, so that others can also live a life of less worry.
