Attention TCHS students enrolled in Eastern Classes:

Please see the information below. Eastern students must begin college coursework next week, even though the TCHS school year does not begin. Failure to do so may result in students being dropped by Eastern from college courses and the need to modify your school schedule.

If you are enrolled in an Eastern online course, your classes begin on Monday, August 17!
If you are a returning high school student and are having trouble logging back in, please email [email protected] for assistance.
Need your Eastern email or student ID?
Our new High School Liaison, Mark Bennear, has been emailing students their Eastern email address and student ID information using the email address provided on your registration/admissions application.
Some students may have left this section blank or your email address has bounced back to us. If you have not received an email from Mark with your Eastern email and student ID, please contact him at [email protected].
If you received your Eastern email and student ID, followed the instructions, but are still having trouble logging in, please contact [email protected] for assistance.
Please be sure to log in beginning August 17 so you can get started with your coursework and have a great start to the semester!

WVU Math, Chemistry, and Biology Students

If you are enrolled in any of our WVU courses, WVU classes officially begin next week on August 18. However, there is no need to panic or worry about falling behind!

TCHS staff have worked directly with the WVU professors regarding homework due dates. Our class will begin all coursework on our first day of school, September 1. This means you will not be expected to complete assignments before we begin class.

The Class of 2028 would like to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone in Tucker (and Preston) County that participated in the 🦩FLOCKING🦩 fundraiser this summer!!!

Starting today, we will not be accepting any new yards. If your yard is flocked, the kids will be back around shortly to remove them. But you will no longer be able to pay to have anyone else flocked. If you would like to make a donation to the class, that would be greatly appreciated! Reach out to Laurie Godfrey for details on that.

We are now officially less than a month away from the start of school and we still have several yards that have been paid for so we are going to focus on them and wrap this fundraiser up! Thank you all for your patience over the last few months. We were working with a small (but busy) crew of kids and a limited number of birds so sometimes it took a while to get to some of the yards.

Again, THANK YOU to all who played along! We appreciate your support and hope you had fun with it!!!

The TCHS Class of 2028 Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser is officially underway!

If a flock of pink flamingos suddenly appears in your yard, don't panic—we've got options!

🌴 Want them gone right away? Removal is $20.

🌴 Don't mind waiting a few days? Removal is $15.

🌴 Want to send the flock to someone else's yard? We can do that too!

🌴 Additional yards can be flocked for just $10 each after the initial move.

To flock a friend, family member, coworker, neighbor, or anyone who could use a little surprise, contact a member of the Class of 2028, Mrs. Godfrey, or Mrs. Dotson. We'll need their address and a brief description of the property.

Several of our students enjoyed a trip to Washington, D.C., on May 8th, including visits to the White House, the National Gallery of Art, the Sculpture Garden, The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, and the United States Botanical Gardens. 🎉 Big Congratulations to three of our Tucker County High School Students! 🎉

Tucker County High School is proud to announce that three of our students placed in the Top 10 in the 2026 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) WV State Championship Spring Qualifier!

🏆 Josh Moore – 1st Place in the State (Excel 2019)
🥉 AJ Maniscarco – 3rd Place (Excel 2019)
📄 Juniper Judy – 7th Place (Word 2019)

Even more exciting—Josh Moore will have the opportunity to represent West Virginia at the 2026 MOS U.S. National Championship in Nashville, TN!

Students can enter this competition when they take MOS certification exams in Business Computer Applications 1 and 2. MOS exams are industry-recognized, performance-based certifications that require students to complete real-world tasks in Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint under timed conditions.

We are incredibly proud of these students for their hard work and outstanding achievements! 🖤💛
