The 2026 Staff Council sweatshirt sale is coming soon! Orders will open Sept. 14-30, with sweatshirts distributed during MSU’s homecoming week in early November.

This year, marketing and communications teams across MSU were invited to submit designs, and Staff Council would like to thank all who participated!

We especially thank and congratulate MSU Libraries staff members Alyssa Edwards (left), communications specialist, and Rhiannon Page (right), graphic designer, who worked with the support of Dean of Libraries Lis Keith to create a sweatshirt design that celebrates school spirit and the incredible contributions of MSU staff across the university.
Submitted designs were reviewed and voted on by the MSU Staff Council Executive Committee and then the broader MSU Staff Council. Special thanks to the Office of Public Affairs for design guidance and oversight. Congratulations to the MSU Libraries team!

Congratulations to the university staff members who were recognized for their exemplary professionalism and dedication with this year’s Donald W. Zacharias Distinguished Staff Awards!

Congrats to our March bully watch winner, Clare Sones! Thank you for all your hard work!

In Clare's role she oversees our design and production of over 3 million + pieces of snail mail we mail out, she handles ALL needs our student recruitment staff needs all over the country, and she is always willing and able to help anyone on our team with whatever they need. Whether she's been asked to clean a university vehicle, put together an event arch, vacuum the campus visit room if guests have brought in leaves or dirt, she is ALWAYS ready and willing to do anything that is asked of her, even if it's outside her job description. I genuinely do not know what we would do without Clare! - Avent Vanhorn
