Lots of FUN and LEARNING happening at our morning playgroups!

Saturday, September 16th is the last night of our One Foot Up shoe distribution event for families with last names R - Z. If your last name falls between A and Q, and you weren't able to make it previous evenings with your kiddos, you can swing by in the evening with your kids to get pairs of shoes! The event runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (last admission 7:30 p.m.).

▪️Remember, this shoe giveaway is for Washington County students ages 4 - 18 and is open to clients and the public. Kids must be present to receive shoes and parents/guardians must bring their IDs! All participating families will have to complete a CIN application - including existing clients.

Bester Community Of Hope, a San Mar initiative (BCOH), is hosting their 8th Annual South End Community Block Party at City Park on Saturday!
Together with City Fall Fest, BCOH celebrating life in the heart of the South End of Hagerstown on Saturday September 16, 2023 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The neighborhood festival is offers a free, family fun-filled roster of opportunities including a live concert by Groovalicious- 70s Dance Band & Disco Revival!
Train rides, pony rides, petting zoo, games for the entire family and more!

This year's One Foot Up new shoe distribution event will take place at Children In Need, Inc. over the course of three evenings! This shoe giveaway is for Washington County students ages 4 - 18 and is open to clients and the public. Kids must be present to receive shoes and parents/gaurdians must bring their IDs! All participating families will have to complete a CIN application - including existing clients.

This year we are encouraging families to visit on the days that correspond with the last name of the parents/gaurdians:

👟 Last Names A - I: Tuesday, September 12th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (last admission at 7:30 p.m.)

👟 Last Names J - Q: Thursday, September 14th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (last admission at 7:30 p.m.)

👟 Last Names R - Z: Saturday, September 16th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (last admission at 7:30 p.m.)

Our back to school B-I-N-G-O was a blast!! Thank you Pre-K and Kindergarten families for spending the evening with us. Good food, great prizes and even better company. We look forward to many more events!
