As a kid, I remember listening to people talk about how they vividly remember exactly where they were when they learned about certain events in their lifetime. For me 9/11 was that moment. I was the SRO (school cop) at Eastern HS when I walked into the principal’s office and saw this on the tv…

Some good “back to school” info…

Back to school means "First Day of School" photos! While these types of pictures are a fun way to mark the beginning of the school year, they are also an easy way for someone to exploit valuable information about your child. Additionally, these photos can contain information that you may use for passwords or password hints.

It's completely reasonable to want to share the start of a new school year with your friends and family on social media, but there are ways to do so safely! You can blur out areas of the photo that contain personal information, or you can post an alternate photo to social media like Officer Remphrey did!
