Mindset Matters with Sandra Mindset Matters with Sandra was founded for the sole purpose of helping people achieve lasting transformational lifestyle change through personal development.

JTAL was founded by Sandra Rojo for the sole purpose of helping people achieve lasting transformational lifestyle change through personal development. The word Eudaimonia is Greek in origin and the concept has been used by philosophers for several thousand years. Today, Eudaimonia is commonly translated as well-being and frequently referred to as “human flourishing" and achievement. Although there

are various definitions or descriptions of Eudaimonia, one of the better ones is provided by Richard M. Ryan, Veronica Huta and Edward L. Deci in an article published in the Journal of Happiness Studies (2008) titled, “LIVING WELL: A SELF-DETERMINATION THEORY PERSPECTIVE ON EUDAIMONIA”. In the article, Eudaimonia is theorized as the realization of valued human potentials that is “not conceived of as a mental state, a positive feeling or cognitive appraisal of satisfaction, but rather as a way of living”. In simple terms, it is possible for anyone, regardless of their circumstances, to live in Eudaimonia and transcend their constant focus on basic life needs and engage in real self-actualization. Sandra believes there is nothing more important than living a life of authenticity because by living this way, we benefit from living a fulfilled and meaningful life that positively enhances our relationship with others and the world. She believes living authentically can be challenging, but the benefits are worth the effort. It requires the courage to ask yourself the hard questions and to be completely honest with yourself about what is truly important to you in life, and how you can live your “human excellence” as Aristotle often referred to it. Regardless of your circumstances, you have the potential to truly follow your heart's wisdom, live YOUR truth, and be real in every sense: The very essence of human flourishing and achievement! While working as a certified Life, Leadership, Health and Wellness coach, Sandra frequently experienced clients and others who struggled to live an authentic life, a life devoted to one’s individual purpose, as opposed to living a life based heavily upon the expectations, desires and goals of others for us. By living an authentic life, we enable ourselves to live through the heart and are able to authentically give to others in the world around us. Sandra learned that living an unauthentic life often leads to immense dissatisfaction, unfulfilled, and unhealthy lifestyles and habits, which can frequently lead to disease and life trauma. Sandra soon realized that living an authentic life was one of the most misunderstood and neglected areas in life and that living unauthentically is the single biggest impediment to personal achievement and flourishing. Sandra has made it her life’s passion to use her formal education in Psychology, certified coaching credentials, personal hands-on experience in personal development, and health and wellness coaching to assist as an accountability partner for clients to achieve an authentic lifestyle. Sandra believes that each person has the potential to evolve to greater self-awareness regardless of where they are emotionally, spiritually, geographically or psychologically. Sandra employs a unique approach to her work using a proven highly effective blend of traditional and non-traditional complementary and alternative modalities to achieve lasting results. Sandra engages in a co-creative process and serves an accountability partner with her clients.

Healthy dialogue isn't about winning an argument—it's about creating understanding.

Emotionally healthy people don't just wait for their turn to speak. They listen to understand, stay curious instead of defensive, ask questions instead of making assumptions, and communicate with respect even when they disagree.

Healthy dialogue requires emotional regulation, humility, and the willingness to value the relationship more than being right.

The quality of your conversations often reflects the quality of your inner world.

Question: Are your conversations building bridges... or creating walls?
