Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸
Today was the last day of this incredible adventure. We began the day by bussing up to Montjuïc to see a beautiful view of the city. After an hour we drove back to the heart of Barcelona where our students had free time until dinner (while sharing locations, of course!). We met for our last dinner where we sung Slim Happy Birthday and now are packing up back at the hotel. We have an early start tomorrow AM AND it's Daylight Saving Time tonight so tomorrow will come quickly. Thanks for following on all of our adventures and we look forward to all seeing our families mañana! ❤️🌎✈️

Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸
Today was our first full day in Barcelona. We packed a ton in! During morning free time some kids explored the Old Town of the city, some checked out the Barcelona Zoo, and others did some shopping and visited the port. In the afternoon we had a very Informative tour of Parque Guëll which was designed by Antoni Gaudí. We also visited some of the houses he designed, and finally Sagrada Família, which is nearing completion after nearly 150 years of work. We had a delicious dinner at a restaurant in the city and then opted to experience the subway as opposed to a 40 min walk back to the Bus! 😳 Tomorrow is our last day on tour and I can't believe it's almost over. Our students are happy but tired. 💤We've been averaging 15,000-20,000 steps each day! Ready for one more great day and then headed home on Sunday to our families! ❤️✈️🌎

Nice, France 🇫🇷 to Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸

Today was our travel day and it was a long one! We left at 8 AM with two stops over the course of our 7 hour drive. Once we arrived at our hotel in Spain we had some free time before dinner to explore the beach and the hotel. The kids loved their buffet dinner but the real fun began after dinner when half of our kids joined a Senior Citizen Dance Party. The Macarena, Line dancing, Merengue, the Conga line--these kids did it all! They had a blast and so did all of the senior citizens, too! Tomorrow we head for Barcelona and we can't wait!

Eze Village & Nice, France 🇫🇷

Today was another great day on the Mediterranean coast. We took a short bus ride to the Fragonard Perfume Factory where we learned all about the process of creating perfume. LOTS of purchases were made and we really enjoyed the experience. We then had a couple of hours to enjoy the adorable village of Eze. Some of us explored the gardens and got great views of the Mediterranean from the top of the village. Others enjoyed some delicious baguette sandwiches for a tasty lunch. Afterwards we traveled back to Nice for more free time. Mr. V had his first escargot (delicious!) and kids and adults enjoyed more beach and shopping time. We ended the day with a delicious dinner of chicken cordon bleu with penne pasta and had a few hours of free time at the hotel for socializing and gaming before bed. Next up: a travel day to Barcelona as we begin the last leg of our trip! Bonsoir, France! It's been a blast! 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷

Monte Carlo, Monaco 🇲🇨 & Nice, France 🇫🇷

Today we left Italy and travelled by bus for 3 hours to Monaco. We had free time to shop, snack, and take in the beautiful views in the Old Towne of Monte Carlo. One of our group even met a Formula 1 Legend! Next we traveled to Nice where we took in the sun on the beach and walked along the promenade. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and then digested our food with a 1.6 mile walk back to where busses are allowed to park. 😳😭 We are getting in about 15,000 steps per day! Tomorrow we will be back in Nice so stay tuned for more updates!

Cinque Terre, Italia 🇮🇹
What an incredibly perfect day in Cinque Terre! We took our bus from our hotel about an hour into La Spezia, where we then had a short walk to the train station. From there we hopped on and off the train over the course of the day to visit 3 of the 5 villages of Cinque Terre: Manarola, Vernazza, and Monterosso. We had beautiful sunny skies, gorgeous views, and delicious seafood and pasta. Favorites lunches of the day included lasagna, octopus, and ravioli with white fish! Gelato, espresso, and lemon slushies 🍋 were also big hits. Lots of new purchases made the train ride back with us 🤣🤣🤣. We ended the day with a dinner of pesto pasta, a meat patty with potatoes, and apple cake! Now to bed because next up we head to MONTE CARLO! 💵💰🤑

Milan, Italy 🇮🇹
Today was our first full day on Tour. We landed at the Milan airport and had no issues with security, retrieving our bags, and meeting with Slim, our amazing tour directory. We took the bus to the Milan city center where we had a few hours of free time to explore the Duomo and get our first shopping in! We then drove about three hours to the city of Genova where we will be staying for two nights. We enjoyed the beautiful views on the way to dinner and room checks followed shortly after we got back to the hotel because WOW we were ready for bed! 🤣 Missed all our pics from the first day?
