A day full of fun! ☀️

The apple orchard is open in our Dolphin classroom! 🍎 Our dolphins have enjoyed picking apples, making apple cider and lattes, and weighing apples. The Sea horse class went on a scavenger hunt and our Sea turtle class went on a nature walk around our campus 🍃. Our littlest class of Jellyfish explored finger painting and created beautiful artwork 🎨

Fun with our Seahorse class!

This week our seahorses have been learning all about community and belonging. They have discussed community helpers and how their class is a community they belong to.

Family Chapel 💜

Our first family chapel of the school year! Today we opened our chapel service to the families of our HSEDS students. Parents were welcomed with coffee and donuts then led into chapel with our students.

Prayer was led by Ms. Sherry and our students, who have been practicing the prayer each morning. They have also been discussing topics such as “Who is God?” and “What is God like?”, so Rev. Jessica joined us to read a story about our theme. Students then sang a song they have been learning, “My God is So Big.” Fr. Will offered communion and a blessing to those who wanted and concluded our first family chapel of the school year.

Thank you to all who joined our service. We will hold family chapel on the 4th Wednesday of every month. All are welcome.

Check out our Sea Turtle class! 🐢

Today our two year olds practiced their fine motor skills by finger painting their names! They had fun exploring the feeling of paint on their fingers and decorating their names however they wanted.

It’s been a fun week at HSEDS! Our students are definitely getting used to their routines and classrooms. They have had fun working fine motor lessons, music and movement activities, and reading all kinds of books.

HSEDS first week back to school!

The first week of the 2026-2027 school year has been a success. Our friends both new and familiar have settled right into their routines with their teachers and classmates. We are excited to see what we will learn this year and for the memories we will make.

Our Meet the Teacher event was so fun! We welcomed our HSEDS families back to the classrooms to get to know their students new teacher and room. Our teachers have worked so hard to create a refreshed and welcoming environment for their new students to learn and play in this upcoming year. We will see everyone again soon!
