We had our first FOOD FRIDAY! The students picked a meal, made the grocery list, a kitchen needs list, prepped the meal, cooked, cleaned it up, and of course ATE IT ALL! Lots of clear plates and empty bowls.

2026-2027 has officially started and we already have so many amazing things going on!!! New building, new classroom, new gyms, new friends, and new appliances!!! We hit the ground rolling washing laundry, folding clothes, practicing ratios, enjoying break, learning about our school, reading stories, and enjoying PE to name a few ๐Ÿ˜Š

We are excited to share that Adaptive Soccer is returning! Adaptive Soccer is an inclusive sports program designed for young athletes in grades Kโ€“7 with physical or cognitive disabilities.

This program provides a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment where participants can learn soccer skills, build confidence, make friends, and enjoy being active alongside their peers. Sessions are led by Gulf Shores City Schools adaptive professionals and supportive adult personnel.

End of the year celebrations!!! Thank you parents for entrusting us, it means so much to all of us. Iโ€™m glad we were able to celebrate. Thank you peer helpers for always hosting amazing parties!!! This year was something extra special, our last year in room 99.

So proud of each and every one of yall!! And to our 8th graders moving on, I know yall are going to rock it!

Almost summertime, but we are still staying busy โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ This week our class learned about endangered animals and plants and then enjoyed some time on the trail looking at plants and observing nature around us. It was a great way to connect our classroom learning to the real world while enjoying the beautiful weather. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿข๐ŸŒฑ
