While the results of the school board election weren’t what I had hoped for, my heart is full of gratitude.

To everyone who supported, encouraged, volunteered, messaged, hosted a sign in your yard, or simply believed in me — thank you. Your kindness and confidence in my ability to serve our teachers, students, and community meant more than I can ever express. Every conversation on the sidelines, every high five at events, every “you’ve got this!” kept me going.

I also want to extend a sincere congratulations to the newly elected board members. Our district is full of passionate parents, educators, and community members, and I’m hopeful for what can be accomplish together.

Although I won’t be serving on the board, one thing won’t change: my commitment to our schools, our kids, and our community. I’ll continue to be involved, volunteer, cheer on our students, and work collaboratively to make our district the very best it can be. Being a mom in this community has been one of the greatest blessings, and I’ll always show up for our children.

Thank you again for walking this journey with me. The conversations, connections, and new friendships built along the way were worth every step.

As a mom of two in our district, I’ve always believed that strong schools are at the heart of a strong community. Whether it’s volunteering in classrooms and schools, organizing events, or simply showing up when help is needed — I’ve learned that great things happen when we come together.
Recently, I stepped into a new role as a college instructor, and it’s given me a whole new perspective on the work our educators do every day. I’m experiencing firsthand the extra hours of preparation, the effort it takes to keep students engaged, and the importance of connecting lessons to real-world experiences that spark curiosity and meaning.
This experience has deepened my appreciation for our teachers and staff — and strengthened my commitment to being a listening ear and a connector for our schools. On the school board, I want to bring the same energy, collaboration, and community focus that I bring to every role I take on.
Together, we can continue to build a district where every student feels supported, every teacher feels valued, and every parent feels heard.

One Week to Go — Let’s Do This Together!

Friends, Supporters, and Neighbors,
As many of you know, I’m running for our School Board, and Election Day is just one week away!
As a mom of two amazing kids in this district, I’ve had the privilege of watching our schools from the inside — as a volunteer, a cheerleader on the sidelines, and an advocate for every student, teacher, and staff member who makes this place special.
When our district faced tough times — during furloughs — I stood with our teachers and staff because I believe in supporting those who shape our children’s futures.
I’ve always believed that when we lift each other up, our entire community thrives. Whether it’s connecting families with resources, celebrating academic and athletic achievements, or stepping up when help is needed, my heart is in this district — and always will be.
I’m running for School Board because I believe in strong schools, supported teachers, and students who know their community is behind them.

I’d be honored to earn your vote and your trust on Election Day.
Let’s continue to build a district we’re all proud to call home.

OMG! Thank you to my supporters and friends! All of my signs are in your yards (I have seven left to place, it was a big sports week for my daughter). I am so overwhelmed by the support, and that I have had to say no to many of you as I am out of signs. 77 signs in your yards (and one in a public spot). Overwhelmed and grateful ♥️

Thank you for your continued support!

I want to share something important with you.
When I put my name forward for the recently open school board seat, I did so in good faith and with a genuine desire to serve our schools and community. At the time, I was unaware that others candidates may have been instructed that they should not apply for the open school board position. Had I known this prior to the vote, I would have respectfully removed my name from consideration.

That said, the process has moved forward, and I’m now fully focused on the upcoming general election. I remain committed to transparency, fairness, and most importantly—putting students, teachers, and families first. I can’t do this without your help and I’m asking all of you to talk to your families, friends, and neighbors and encourage them to vote in the upcoming election.
