New openings beginning September 8 for 1:1 virtual reading intervention, literacy evaluations, and parent support consultations.
We’re a couple of weeks into the new school year, and if reading was a struggle for your child last year, you may already be noticing some of those same challenges popping up again.
Maybe they’re still guessing at words, reading slowly or without confidence, struggling to understand what they’ve read, or having a hard time with spelling.
These struggles don’t usually go away just because a new school year begins. The sooner we can identify the specific skills holding a child back, the sooner we can start providing the targeted support they need.
That’s exactly what we do in 1:1 virtual reading sessions, evaluations, and parent consultations. I work with each family individually to identify the specific skills their child needs support with, tailor instruction to those needs, and use ongoing progress data to track their growth and make sure we’re moving in the right direction.
I’m a licensed teacher and certified Orton-Gillingham reading interventionist with over a decade of experience working with young readers. My lessons are interactive, multisensory, and game-based to keep kids engaged, even virtually!
