This past year I have been on the committee that has worked on the $88 million dollar bond referendum that will be put to a vote on Nov. 4th. This has given me the opportunity to see just how important this bond is to the district and in turn the students, teachers & staff. My goal in running is to bring awareness to this and the needs that our district has. Some of the major points involve the high school being over capacity, the need for secure vestibules at 3 of the schools and an inclusive playground at each of the elementary schools.

Along with promoting this bond referendum, my goal is to just be a supportive member of the community and also the DC-G schools. I am a “see a need, fill a need” kind of a person and I would love the opportunity to represent you as a member of the Dallas Center Grimes School Board.
