Busy Butterfly Preschool & Daycare is looking for a Part-Time Assistant Teacher to join our team!

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and wants to be part of a positive, supportive environment. We are incredibly fortunate to have an amazing staff and wonderful families who make Busy Butterfly such a special place to work.

Our school is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a part-time position, but applicants must have availability Monday through Friday during our operating hours. The specific schedule and number of hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Over the last couple of weeks, we watched our caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies. Today, we set them free! 🦋 What a special and memorable experience for the children.

🦖 Roaring our way through June! It’s Dinosaur Month!

Today’s activity was a Dinosaur Egg Hunt! The children put on their paleontologist hats and searched for hidden dinosaur eggs. They had so much fun exploring, discovering, and using their imaginations as they hunted for their very own dinosaur treasures. What an exciting way to kick off a month full of prehistoric adventures! 🌋

Busy Butterfly Preschool & Daycare has slots available for Preschool for All! If your child is 3 or 4, you qualify if you live in Multnomah County. Applications are open until May 14th

The countdown is on! There are 7 more days to apply for Preschool for All.

Know a family with a 3- or 4-year-old? Share this with them! Families at every income level can apply.

We’re a Preschool for All program and have a few openings starting this September!

If your child will be 3 or 4 by September 1st and you live in Multnomah County, you may qualify for FREE preschool through Preschool for All. That’s all it takes to be eligible.

Applications are open now through May 14th. When you apply, be sure to list Busy Butterfly Preschool & Daycare as one of your choices so we can be considered for placement.

Spots are limited, so I recommend applying as soon as possible.
