Happy Boss’s Day to our Founder and Executive Director, Dr. Tamala Boyd Shaw! 🎉

Every great organization starts with someone who sees what could be and refuses to stop until it is. For Legacy, that person is Dr. Shaw. Her vision built this organization, and her leadership, heart, and tireless commitment keep it moving forward every single day.

Thank you for leading with purpose, inspiring everyone around you, and building a legacy that will impact lives for generations to come.

Dearest Gentle Reader,
The season’s most anticipated affair is upon us. On Tuesday, the thirteenth of October, at six o’clock in the evening, the doors of the Legacy Auditorium shall open, and society is cordially summoned to witness the Crowning Ceremony of Mister and Miss Leflore Legacy Academy.
This author has it on the finest authority that the crowns shall rest upon Mister Letravis Chandler Jr. and Miss Ti’lia Glover, a pair whose grace, poise, and character have made them the toast of the season. Come see them take their rightful place in what promises to be a night of royalty, tradition and legacy.
Do arrive in your finest, dear readers. One would hate to be the talk of the ton for all the wrong reasons. 👑

Happy National Custodian Appreciation Day!

Today we’re celebrating the people who keep our school clean, safe, and running smoothly every single day: Mr. Po***ck, Ms. Jasper, Ms. Carrie Hogan and Mr. Cole!

From early mornings to after-school cleanups, spills and setups to all the little things nobody notices until they’re done, our custodians make it possible for students and staff to learn and work in a space we can be proud of. We truly couldn’t do it without you!

Legacy families and community, please help us celebrate our custodians today; drop a comment and say THANK YOU!
